KFC Bucket Hat Campaign

For a limited time, KFC called upon its loyal fans to grab a free KFC Bucket Hat with the purchase of the Porjai Bucket Menu. The result: a remarkable 285% increase in brand engagement, with an unprecedented social media buzz on Google and TikTok. This campaign not only brought joy and family fun but also created thousands of social media posts featuring customers proudly wearing their iconic red and white KFC Bucket Hats, demonstrating their unique fashion styles.

“The response has been incredible,” says Sakechai Choomuenwai, General Manager of KFC Thailand. “From the first day, our customers wasted no time showing off their hats at school, the office, on the streets, and even on planes. It’s truly amazing to witness how our KFC buckets have become a lifestyle legacy,” adds Choomuenwai.

The promotion aimed to strengthen brand loyalty by leveraging KFC’s iconic asset: its quality buckets filled with hot, hand-fried crispy chicken pieces. However, the widespread enthusiasm for KFC’s striped bucket hat giveaway took everyone by surprise and turned it into a viral phenomenon of love and appreciation for the brand.

“It’s a viral sensation that will go down in our brand’s history,” says Choomuenwai, “and it confirms that all it takes to be happy is a bucket of crispy deliciousness, a secret recipe, and a matching hat,” concludes Choomuenwai.

While some fans may have missed out on displaying their “KFC drip” with the bucket hat, fret not, as KFC has exciting plans for their fans in August. Keep a close eye on their social media for more surprises.

Let’s give a round of applause to KFC Thailand for yet another successful and original campaign, perfectly complementing the Colonel’s recipe itself.
